This cosy Cornish cottage provides year-round self-catering accommodation for four people. It has been converted from part of the stables next to the large 19th century farmhouse in the hamlet of Welltown, on the southern edge of Bodmin Moor.
Welltown itself is a handful of old houses set on a quiet rural lane, with views over the local farm land and wooded hills and valleys. The area is ideal for those seeking to escape the madding crowds, while still being within easy reach of local towns and villages and both the north and south coasts.
The cottage has a private garden to relax in and for barbeques on sunny evenings. Alternatively enjoy a stroll on one of the many local public footpaths or along the winding lanes. Close-by is the village of Cardinham with its historic church of St. Meubred, and within a few miles to the east is the village of St. Neot, which boasts a fine pub and restaurant, a small shop and church.
